Android Apps are now viral

GameColony.com has released a Backgammon Live  App for Android phones and tablets.

If you like playing backgammon at www.gamecolony.com but want the flexibility of playing anywhere with your android phone or tablet, then Backgammon Live app is for you!  Backgammon GC is a active social network built around the game of Backgammon. You play numerous games against live players from around the world in real-time. Your gamecolony login information will allow you to acces the app.  Or you can create a new account.  Either way, once your screen name is established,  you get to a main screen with all the games currently being played. If there is a ‘Play’ button you have the opportunity to join the game and get stuck into a live game of Backgammon. Alternatively, you can dip into a game and watch other users play. Some less experienced players like this feature especially because it is good to see other players in action.

Game Analysis

Did you think that only chess players review their games? Think again! At Gamecolony.com you can review your recent ticket games in gin rummy, dominoes and cribbage.

For example, you just lost a game in gin rummy and want to see what went wrong. Was your opponent a genius or did you just miss out on a good move or forgot your discards.

Go to http://a1.gamecolony.com/gameviewer3.shtml , follow the links to game review and learn. How cool is that!!!

This is a screen shot of one frame of a game analysis. Don't wait any more, analyse your past ticket games and bring your skills to a new level. Garry Kasparov in Gin Rummy anyone?

'Tasty' social networking sites

Web is an amazing place. I feel like I am always behind on something new coming out. We got myspace and facebook and twitter and classmates.com. The list can go on and on. I know I do not have enough time in the day to maintain my facebook account, so I don't even try any more. But yesterday I stumbled on something new (at least for me, LOL)

There's a popular social bookmarking site with a 'tasty' name: delicious.com. Anyone who creates an account at delicious.com can create & save & share her own bookmarks (favorite sites) on multiple computers and search/view popular bookmarks that other people have. Bookmarks can be categorized by category. The popular searchable bookmarks are those that many people add to their browser via delicious.com This is a great way to let others view your favorite bookmarks. This is also a great way for you to see what sites other people surf the most.

As you can imagine, I want to promote gamecolony.com because I think this is the best site in the universe. So I created an account at delicious.com & added the following bookmarks (favorites):

http://www.gamecolony.com - as 'games'

http://www.gamecolony.com/gin-rummy.shtml as 'gin rummy'

http://www.gamecolony.com/cribbage.shtml>http://www.gamecolony.com/cribbage.shtml as 'cribbage'

http://www.gamecolony.com/backgammon.shtml as backgammon

http://www.gamecolony.com/dominoes.shtml as 'dominoes'

If you love Gamecolony as much as I do, please promote http://www.gamecolony.com/ on delicious.com.
